La Shauna Lobdell, PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

What is your role and responsibilities?
My role is to serve as an Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director.  My duties include offering support to current and former clients, maintaining  training manuals, and scheduling speakers for the PJP cohorts.  

What is your background and qualifications?
I have a B.A in Sociology and studied Workforce Education in graduate school. I have also worked as an advocate for women and children for over 28 years.  

Who or what inspires to do the work you do in Jobs Partnership?
I’m inspired to do the work I do because of what God did for me.  I know first hand that God gives continual “ second chances.” My mind was “incarcerated” and it was God’s Love that freed me.  I believe I’m obligated to serve anyone wanting a second chance.  

What is your vision or goals for the future of Jobs Partnership?
My goal for the future of Jobs Partnership, is to help the program expand nationwide.  Jobs Partnership provides an excellent framework for men and women transitioning from incarceration to independence.
